  • Supermicro X9SRE/X9SRI-F Reboots with v 7.4

    Hi, I searched and could only find relevant information for MP systems. Unfortunately these motherboards are single processor systems, so the bit about the vendor UEFI multiprocessor support wouldn't apply. However, where the system shutdown and reboots is right at multiprocessor support. Again though, these motherboards are single CPU.

    Tried with a 3.0 and a 3.2a firmware on them on 2 different systems with the same result. The systems are using an Intel e5-2620.

    Some the SuperMicro boards have firmware bugs. See,

    There is a chance this might already be mitigated in the upcoming V7.5 release (by blacklisting the board from using multiple threads).

    Can you send us the log file and we can check
