  • RAM may be vulnerable to high frequency row hammer Error

Hi, hoping I could get some help with the above error.

I'm running standard Gigabyte H81m-S2V using 1 x Kingston HyperX 4gb DDR3. I keep getting the above error. I've changed memory module (exact same type), changed memory slots & even tested a new motherboard. I cant believe I have any faulty hardware after all the swapping I've done. I have read that this error can be ignored for most day to day task's etc, is this correct? I've tried versions 7.1/7.3 & 7.5 and again it'll always flagging this error.

Is there a compatability using memtest with the above hardware at all?

    any help most welcome.

Row hammer errors are usually a design flaw. So switching modules for other modules of the same type won't fix it.

      Hi David,

Thanks for the reply. So would you say these modules are actually faulty? or just not fully compatible for use with memtest?
