Hi, I recently got a series of Blue Screens of Death. So I tested my RAM with Memtest86. First 2 passes yielded 150 errors and computer froze up during Test 7 in pass 2. Then I pulled one RAM module out to isolate the faulty one. Did 4 passes on first module, no errors. Then I swapped in the second module and did another 4 passes, no errors. Then I switched the RAM slots and did 4 passes on each, still no errors. Finally, I put all modules back into their original slots, did 2 passes, got absolute no errors. The test passes were crisp and clean, no freeze-up, no delays. So I am completely confused now. What happened to the 150 errors from the initial run? So a simple re-slotting the modules fixed the problem?
