They don't seem to have demonstrated anything that would effect a typical PC system. No mention of firewalls which would block most of this, no mention of ECC RAM nor is it an exploit that would work at normal internet speeds. So no I wouldn't be worried unless you had some critical server without ECC on a public super high speed network.
