  • Need help with faultfinding

I purchased the following fanless mini-pc via Aliexpress
    (purchased barebone) :
    Model: FMP07B-i3-7100U HYSZ170000037 (cpu = Intel i3-7100U)
    + - 2 pieces (16GB total) RAM for laptop Crucial DDR4 8GB 2133MHz CL15 1.2V SO-DIMM CT8G4SFD8213, MTA16ATF1G64HZ-2G1B1, 8GB 2Rx8 PC4-2133-SB1-11 -SSD Samsung 850 PRO SSD 250GB
I can say that I've only had problems with the pc (haven't had so many restarts and BSOD's in my life .
It has already been sent back but upon return
the problems continue although Hystou rep indicated they have worked on it, so I'd like
to come to a conslusion on where the problem is (Hystou pc or the other components I purchased)
and decide whether to return the pc with another loss.

In january 2018 I had all the components and installed Windows 10.
At that time I suspected some powersupply problems as well as having, BSOD's and problems of the type:

    -UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MOD_TRAP
    -Memory management
    -IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (2 times)
    -KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (2 times)
    -KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
    -SPECIAL_POOL_DETECTED_MEMORY_CORRUPTION
    -SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION+NOT_HANDLED
PC turns off (black screen) (1 time)
Beep codes on startup (1 longer/3 shorted) (at least 5 times)
    Screen freezes
Screen shows a lot of small squares moving across the screen.

The pc is now back from "repair" with following issues:
    Windows 10 installed:
-Scrambled screen (small squares moving across the screen) - this reoccurs
almost immediately after forced shutdown/turn on via button
    -BSODs:
    - memory management
-page fault in non paged area
    -special pool detected memory corruption
    -IRQL not less or equal

This all sounded like memory problems, so I tried using memtest86. I saw that
faults were listed but the problem is that after a while, the screen locks and a lot of
columns / locations on the screen are jittering - so I have no clue how to identify the
    problem component.

Would appreciate if someone would give me a pointer on how best to proceed.

so I tried using memtest86. I saw that faults were listed
If MemTest86 reports errors then the most likely conclusion is a RAM fault.
Especially if you are also seeing random crashes in Windows.

Hard to believe you sent it for repair and it was returned to you in this state. Either they don't care or they are incompetent.

    See this page for troubleshooting.

Maybe it wasn't the best idea but I didn't send the memory + ssd with the pc. Attached are a few photos of what happens
(the blue colored screen is the memtest86 jittering, the others in windows, besides that, the mentioned BSOD's occured).
The mini-pc is attached to a monitor via hdmi cable.
I tested the monitor and hdmi cable via a laptop - all is OK.
So, what can I do to get to the bottom of this ?
