  • Single error per pass on test 7

I was wondering if my results warranted me to RMA my ram when I get a single bit error in half of my passes. Two of the passes returned 0 errors while two of them returned a single error at the same error address. I was wondering if there was a way for me to mark that one bit as bad ram in windows 10, so as to avoid the RMA process and buying more ram. Currently my system is running the Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000Mhz C15 on XMP settings in BIOS. Windows is stable and I have not had any BSOD's yet, so is it possible that this one bit error could cause a large problem in the future?

Yes, 1 bit errors can cause huge problems, or none at all, or subtle strange behavior. Really depends on luck and the location of the fault.

All Corsair's DRAM memory modules have a lifetime warranty. So you could wait until it causes a problem, then return it.
