Stable Ram - How long?

Okay since you have now begun to update this old Ram tester, i thought it would be nice to know.

How long do i have to run to know if itīs stable?

I know there isnīt any real definite answer, but like Prime95 needs 24 hours, what does Memtest86 need?

And also, is it better than Memtest86+ now, or will it keep getting better?

Yes, there is no real answer. But we would a minimum of 1 complete pass on your hardware. Two or three passes are better. But the probability of finding errors on the 2nd and 3rd pass are much lower than on the first pass. The duration of a pass depends on how much RAM you have and the speed of the system.

I would also suggest the 24h period for Prime95 is a totally arbitrary figure that someone pulled out of the air without any facts to back it up.
