ECC Polling details

I have had 5 ecc errors on the memtest86 screen but no reported errors in the systems log.
with ECC polling ON, all ECC errors are reported by memtest86 and there are no entry's in the IPMI/BMC system log, right ?

it isn't the responsibility of MemTest86 to update the BMC log.
You might need to contact the motherboard vendor.

i have checked with V7.5 pro and the ecc errors vanished. maybe a bug in the ess polling mechanism of the V8.0 beta ? (mobo is supermicro x11spm-f)

With each new Memtest86 release we add support for new platforms. ECC support is more related to the CPU in use, not so much the motherboard.
(memory controllers are now built into the CPU and not the motherboards)
