We've made a beta release of the next version of Memtest86. The beta can be found on the Memtest download page. Changes are;
- Fixed the error counts for each individual tests not updating correctly sometimes.
- Fixed the overall error count being displayed as 10x higher than it actually is.
- Fixed a bug causing errors in test 10 when it was selected as a single test to run.
- Fixed a bug where the average error bits became incorrect once the total errors maxed out at 65536.
- Fixed a bug in test 8 that would cause a single error to cascade into thousands of additional false errors.
- Possible fix for some systems misidentifying the number of CPU cores in a system.
