Memtest fails to start

I've been noticing slowed performance from my PC and wanted to test the memory, however, when I boot Memtest86 from my disk it displays this image:



Anybody have any idea what this means and how I can get the test to start?

This screen shot is from MemTest86+ and not MemTest86.

We only look after the original MemTest86.

I know it is confusing, but there are two versions of MemTest86 with more or less the same name.
