  • Is there a way to block areas of bad memory?

    Hi,

I'm getting bit errors at two spots (394.7MB and 2708MB)... I've swapped banks of RAM and still get errors at the same spots. This leads me to believe the memory is good but the slot or controller is failing.

Is there some program that can be run to block these addresses, so I can eek out a little stability while getting a replacement system?

    Thanks

I think there is in Linux (the badram setting in grub), but I don't know of any method in Windows.
