  • Error test 6 on cpu 5

    Hi,

after getting a BSOD with a “Memory management” error I started some testing.
Now I keep getting these errors on cpu 5 in test 6 only. Is this a memory error or a cpu error? I know people here recognize is sometimes. I have no spare Ram, but I can take out the bars to see which one is the cause, if it is probably a ram error.

RAM errors normally mean the RAM is bad.

Yeah, but when I check the sticks seperately there are no errors. Dual channel in channel B gives errors, dual channel in A none? Could this still be the ram orbis it more likely a mobo issue.

Channels might have slightly different timing, impedance or voltage drop. Or could just be intermittent and random, and sometimes you get lucky, you need a bigger sample to be really sure.
