  • Low and high values encompass almost all memory

Hi, I would appreciate any assistance interpreting my results. I received a very large number of errors on the block move test, and the high and low values stretch most of the RAM. Does this suggest the issue is in something besides the RAM? No other tests triggered any errors. Unfortunately the RAM is soldered to the mobo, so replacing will be difficult. (I was hoping to manage the bad memory pages via command line as mentioned on bottom of the troubleshooting page.) Thanks!

Yes, it is a bit strange to have so many bits in error over such a wide RAM of addresses.

Was there some other bad behaviour (e.g. crashes in Windows)?

Seems pretty clear something is wrong. But if everything is soldered to the motherboard, there is no fixing the problem without access to very specialised equipment and compatible spare parts. Is the machine under warranty?

Can you also send us the log file.
MemTest86.log is automatically created and updated while MemTest86 is running. This file is saved in the 'EFI/BOOT' directory in the USB drive's first partition.
