I booted v8.1 and then while a test was running, removed the boot drive from the USB port. Immediately the test froze. The screen did not update any more. It was test 13 running at 15%.
After several minutes it was still frozen with the same screen.
So must the drive remain inserted? I did not find anything relevant in the docs.
I did the same later again and now it did not freeze. V4.x had no problem with the removal of the boot device.
What is the "official" stand on this?
