  • MemTest86 Error Log? Replace RAM?

Hey! Sorry to be another person posted errors. I'm assuming it basically means I'm going to have to replace the RAM, but I wanted to be positively sure first that it isn't something else or maybe an easy fix (it never is). Its just a bit confusing as it's a fairly new system, it worked for the first few months before it started bluescreening. I tried reading the troubleshooting guide for help but got myself more confused. Can you guys help me out just to make sure? Thanks!

    Try re-seating the RAM.
If it still fails, it is likely bad. But you can never be 100% sure of the cause (until you start swapping components). It is a bit strange that so many bits are in error.

Also that CPU supports dual channel RAM, you would be better off with 2 x 4GB than 1 x 8GB.
