memtest cpu errors and how to do a memory not cpu test

had some errors, showing up on cpu 0,1,2 on my ryzen 1700x. i had some weird bsod and random application crashes lately. couldnt figure out what it is. i have never overclocked this computer since i got it. but ive had some problems happening that have gotten worse from rare program crashes to one popping up every few days now. i ran the new memtest and im used to the old one from a floppy disc where it just tests the ram. from what i remembered. so anyway, I ran this and it gives me errors, from the cpu.
is there 1st, a way to test only the ram to check to see if its not making the cpu error instead alone? what does this error tell me?

i ran 2 full rounds and the errors were always on cores 0,1, and 2. i had always thought this computer had a problem, like it just didnt run smooth, and always crashed randomnly. not a lot of experience i waited as long as possible to move from xp, with windows 7.

They aren't CPU errors, they are RAM errors. Memtest86 isn't a CPU testing utility.

The reference to a CPU in the report, refers to the CPU core that was in use when the RAM error was detected.

Having a working CPU is obviously required to test the RAM, and on rare occasions a bad CPU will prevent the RAM test from executing, or produce errors. But not in this case. It is 99.9% sure these are RAM errors.
