What does hitting the spacebar do?

I was running Memtest v5 and accidentally hit the space bar during one of the passes. It seemed to jump from Test 1 to Test 5. I was just curious what the purpose of this was and if hitting the space bar in any way damages the RAM or invalidates the test results? I would sincerely appreciate anyone's feedback.

The space bar key isn't captured so pressing it shouldn't cause anything to happen. If it happens again, please send us the log file so we can see what's happening in the background.
