  • memtest86 v5 rebooting doing test

    i have got a new motherboard and now my ram starting to give problem, so i decide to test them and found out that wnet i run with my old corsiar ram it start to crash windows, so wnet i ran memtest86 with them in i got to test 6 and they reboot, so i did think hhahah i just test one at the time to fine the rotten apple but both pass it the test without errors, anyone know why, what can be wrong then?

    Most motherboards have dual channel mode. So testing 1 stick at a time isn't the same as testing with 2 sticks. How many sticks of RAM do you have?
    Another possibility is that the RAM slot is bad and not the RAM stick.

    Can you just swap out all the RAM and then retest?
    Can you test 1 stick of RAM in all slots (1 slot at a time)?
