  • What does mean of the memtest CPUs active option?

I was testing the Intel Appo Lake platform with Memtest V8.1 Pro, and found that the CPU active in this interface did not match the number of CPU cores I actually used. For example, the Intel E3940 CPU below has 4 cores, but Memtest showed that CPU activate was only 1. Please refer to the attached picture.
But Intel C3500 or coffee lake platfrom this option display normal, What is the judgment of this option (CPUs active)?

UEFI BIOS on E3940 machine might not support multi-threading.
Or maybe it has been blacklisted as a result of being buggy.
Or maybe you selected single threaded mode in the configuration file.

I have experimented with multiple Intel Atom Appolake platforms with this problem(Not only the E3940), but the same Settings for other platforms show the actual number of Core CPU active. According to Intel CPU specification: AppoLake platform should support multi-process processing capacity. Have you tested memtest on Appolake platform?

Is there any update on this issue?

I don't think there is anything to add. Based on info provided the likely cause is one of the 3 issues we already mentioned.
There might be more information in the debug log.
