took too long to finish testing

Yesterday I ended up the tetsting at test #8 because memtest took around 1.5 h and still didn't finish.
So I ask you does the usb flash memory type matter because I made bootable memtest86 on some old pen drive which is USB 2.0?
Would it make it faster to end up testing if I make it on usb 3.0 pen drive.
My memory is Corsair Vengeance RGB 4x8GB DDR4 3200MHz.

There is some logging to the USB drive. So there might be a slight different in speed.

But the main factors determining the test duration are,
- How much RAM you have
- If you are running single threaded or multi-threaded testing
- The RAM and CPU speeds
- The MemTest86 config settings (which tests are being run & number of test passes).
