  • Memtest results I am confused :(

Hello, I am really new to memtesting. Recently I bought a G.Skill F4-3200C14D-16GFX Flare X DDR4 3200Mhz CL14 16GB (2x8GB) from a guy. I start testing in my system. First test I got a single error in the picture. Second test I got no errors. I am confused. Should I test more?

It is possible the error was a one off "soft" error.
    See,
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soft_e...of_soft_errors

But it equally possible the RAM is bad.
Further testing should show if it was random bad luck, or you have RAM that is functioning marginally.

Getting errors twice in the same test and same bit isn't random.
The RAM is bad. It is probably just 1 bit bad from a total of 137,281,536 bits, but you only need 1 bad bit to cause a problem.

I see. Interesting part is other memtest software didnt give me any error... I guess I need to RMA but I dont have any proof of purchase since I got this from someone else...
