Hello,
I'd like to make MemTest86 Free Edition more easily usable on Gentoo Linux. I have a few questions to see if that's realistically possible/legal.
1) Would Gentoo be allowed to create a script that downloads memtest86-usb.zip from PassMark directly, and extracts the BOOTX64.efi image to allow booting it via the end user's GRUB or other bootloader?
2) Would Gentoo be allowed to legally make a copy of memtes86-usb.zip on their community mirroring system?
3) Would Gentoo be allowed to legally ship that BOOTX64.efi as part of their installation CD images, for easy memory testing before installation?
Thanks,
Ben
