I believe I have successfully downloaded & written the new memtest86 v9.1 free edition to a USB stick, but when I boot it, it still shows "MemTest86 V9.1 Free" at the bottom of the menu screen. Anyone else notice that too?

I see that too on the 9.2 build 1000 version I downloaded earlier today. It also shows 9.1 build 1000 in the logs.
I know it's actually the new version because the ECC bug I was seeing (present in v9.1) is fixed. -
Yes, we stuffed up. It is labeled wrong. It is really V9.2. Sorry.
We are fixing it. But it takes a few days to get new release packaged & code signed by Microsoft.
