I was directed by another forum to run your utility to rule out memory problems. I cannot get the computer to boot from the disk I created. I selected "Burn disc image to disc" when I created the bootable CD. Upon restarts, the system will not recognize the drive. The .pdf guide doesn't have additional instructions, and I know it is just a simple fix but my computer skills with troubleshooting are limited.

It isn't uncommon for re-writable CDs to be bad, especially the cheap no name blank discs.
Did you try a 2nd disc?
Did you try the initial disc in a 2nd machine?
Did you check that the CD drive itself actually works?
Did you check the BIOS setting to make sure the CD is first in the boot order.
If the machine supports a USB boot, then USB is generally a better option.
