  • Test Results - machine reboots

    I have run memtest multiple times. Whenever I come back to it I realize that the PC has rebooted and I cannot see the results. All I have is what I believe to be a log file but I have no idea what I am looking for. I have a log file. Can anyone tell me what I am looking for, where to start, results?

    Really? 11C ?

    Reboot isn't a good sign. Very likely something is wrong with the hardware.

    Approximately how long does it run for before the reboot?
    Is the BIOS firmware up to date.
    Are you running V6 of MemTest86?

    Post the log if you want or E-mail it to us.

      My MemTest goes to blank screen immediatly after starting test

      My MEMTEST does the same thing, only no reboot. I have standalone version, boot to it, try to use it, and it comes up.. starts.. then I get colored bars all over my screen and nothing.
