  • Dead RAM?

Morning, I'm new to Memtest however I built a pretty high end machine over the weekend and had nothing but issues since. Finally ran mem test last night and got about 1,000 errors in about a mintues, almost as fast as it could count them.

However, I now get no picture have even tried moving to dimm slot 2 and still no picture.

Is it safe to assume the RAM is now officially dead? can memtest push already damaged RAM over the edge?

    Thanks

Would have been nice to see the details of the errors.

But yes, it sounds like bad ram (or CPU or motherboard, or slot).

No, it isn't really plausible that MemTest86 can damage working RAM.
