So I have been experiencing my PC Windows 10 crashing with rendering videos or higher end games. From screen freezing, flat reset, or now a blue screen but different reasons with each blue screen.

reinstalled windows fresh copy, did not fix it.

I decided to run the memtest86 and it said failed.

so I went and bought new memory.
    Was Trident went with Corsair

it failed again, and actually got worse somehow. Crashing faster and with almost no load.

    cleared CMOS
    flashed Bios
    XMP 1
    XMP Disabled

    constant on mem test is
    CPU
    0
    2
    4
    6
    8
    10
    12
    14

Here is a screen shot of the current test running

    any ideas?

    Asus Z690-G MOBO
    EVGA 1000 watt PSU
    EVGA 3090
    Samsung NVME evo
    12900k

    No OC

Definitely a hardware failure. I would say it was the RAM, but if you have already swapped that, it seems unlikely now that you have two failures.

    I assume you have 2 x 16GB sticks.

Maybe try them in the other two slots in case it is a bad slot.
Or if you have 4 x 8GB, try running with only two sticks.

Check for BIOS updates in case they have made improvements to timings or voltage levels in BIOS.

David (PassMark) 2x16 sticks both sets. Test froze on over 2600 errors pass 3 @ 80% complete. Did the latest bios update and went back 2 versions and same / similar issue still occurs. Pulled the chip out. Here is what it looks like. Not sure it matters or you can tell from looking at it.

David (PassMark) ok so I took everything off my board including the CPU, and started over from scratch, but used my old memory again. It seems to be only failing this way on test 6 no matter the pass.
        Any ideas?

It does present like bad RAM (mostly single bit flips on multiple CPU cores, on Test #6, which is the test that seems to trigger the most RAM errors)

Maybe try them in the other two slots in case it is a bad slot.
Then try the sticks one at a time.

But given you have changed the RAM and the problem persists it is more likely a bad CPU or motherboard at this point.

              Dears,

I had an older but stable system running for years, recently it started to get bsods in windows 10.
So I tried a clean install of windows 10, but that that still resulted in weird errors.
After that I started to doubt hardware, and did run Memtest86.
It did run up to test 4 and then canceled the test due to too much errors.
Now I try to figure out if my RAM is broken or something else.
Does anybody has experience to explain this from the results?
              Thanks in advance.
