Memtest launches fine but blank screen at test start

I've successfully made a bootable USB flash drive and booted a Late 2012 i7 Mac Mini (macmini6,2) with 16GB of memory. It boots fine and I see the graphical UI, but when I start the testing, the screen goes completely blank and displays nothing. I've looked at the log file and it appears that testing has commenced, but I was very concerned by the lack of display and halted the test. The "other" memtest (Memtest86+ 5.01) runs fine and displays its progress properly.

It doesn't appear that I can attach a log file here, so here's a dropbox link to the file:

    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/.../MemTest86.log

    Thanks.

This could similar to the issue described here:
    http://www.passmark.com/forum/showth...tina-questions

We are investigating at the moment, but it looks like a compatibility issue with Mac's EFI firmware. It is using an obsoleted function that switches between "Graphics" mode and "Console" mode. You can try updating your firmware but I doubt it has been fixed in the latest firmware. We may need to implement a workaround for Mac systems.

We compiled a new build with a workaround for Mac EFI firmware. Please give this build a try and let us know the results:

The new build displays the test progress correctly, and also as an added bonus, displays the initial boot progress which is nice as I loaded it from a glacially slow USB flash drive and it was good to see the progress during boot.
        Thanks!

I can confirm the fix posted works on the MacBook Air 2012. Unfortunately, I purchased the pro version, which did I can confirm the fix works on the MacBook Air 2012. Unfortunately, I just today purchased the pro version, which does not work. When will a patched pro version 6 be available, and how do I access it?

          thanks,
