In our domain, desktop and servers computers with different versions of BIOS(traditional and UEFI).
We need to solve the following problem:


Fully automated memory testing without human intervention.


1. Automatically start pre-ordained in the configuration file memory test when computers starts.
2. Record the results to a file for later analysis.
3: Run the operating system after testing.


Which version of memtest for solving this problem?

The BIOS version of MemTest86 (v4.3.7) cannot write the results to a file, and runs indefinitely until the user stops it.

The UEFI version of MemTest86 (v6) supports automatically running memory tests using the parameters in the configuration file, and writing the results to disk. However, the user needs to manually exit the program when the tests complete.
