We're experiencing test reports that can't decipher channel and slots properly. Here we have a 2620v3 CPU not reporting the channel and slot in results 1, and then we have 2695v4 CPU reporting them fine in results 2. The latter CPU is obviously newer and more powerful, but we have tried this with numerous dimms, CPUs and motherboards and experienced similar errors - we're yet to find a trend. We have 40 machines loaded with 2 2680v4 CPUs and 24 2666mhz Hynix dimms per to test, is there a suggested memtest config for this setup? I appreciate any help in advance.

Mapping to the DIMM slots on the motherboard is not a straightforward process, as it is highly dependent on the vendor and CPU chipset.
Having said that, we've looked into attempting to do this for specific chipsets and motherboards (eg. Haswell/Broadwell Xeons)
Can you boot MemTest86 from a USB flash drive and send a copy of the MemTest86 log file under EFI\BOOT\ directory. -
