  • USB will not boot!!

    Hi Guys, made a bootable USB for my Acer Aspire 7720, changed boot in bios to USB and nothing, boots straight to windows 7!! Re did the USB twice, still will not boot to USB!!!
    what am i doing wrong?????

    There should be an option to manually select the booting device.
    You should enter the bootmenu after you start your Notebook. Usually with F8, F10 depending on the Model.(It sometimes shows at the startup what to press to enter boot menu).

    On the other hand you might want to try a different software, might be that the format is not the right one.
    I find this one the easiest to use for Win7 bootable usb creation.
    It's free, and doesn't contain any viruses

    You might want to check if you are using an USB 3.0 drive.
    -You cannot install Win7 with USB 3.0 cause it won't find any drivers. It will give you an error while installing
    -Sometimes Notebooks have a problem with starting usb 3.0 from bootmenu.

    Tell me if anything worked, and we'll look for a different solution.
