Test starts then screen goes Blank

I do MemTest from DVD boot, and the test comes up for 1/2 sec, then some color bars flash across my screen and all goes blank.

I have reset the Memory Module in A and B slots.. same thing.

Machine: Dell Studio 1749. Memory stick: Kingston 4 GB DDR3 10600 (1333 Mhz)
Brand New Stick, straight out of retail package.

Which MemTest86 version are you running? (UEFI or BIOS)
Are you using latest firmware?

Please post a screenshot of the issue.

it's the version that boots outside of windows..
Can't do a screen shot silly... if I could do that, the computer would be working!

You have to be more specific. Both our BIOS and UEFI versions boot outside of Windows.

If you have a camera, you can capture a screenshot and upload the image.

and the test comes up for 1/2 sec,
so no picture.. lemme put it in another computer.. it is Memtest86 V4.3.7 maybe that will help? I have also Ran Dell Diagnostics w/i the Studio 1749, and every test passes until it gets to memory.. then the program tanks. I'm thinking I might have a stinky motherboard.
