  • Confirmation required for faulty RAM Module.

    Hello members.

Here's a summary of my situation.
My laptop is giving issues while booting. When I press the power on button, the power LED is lit but there's no display on the screen. I decided to check 1 of my RAM modules with Memtest86+. Here is the snapshot of the test after 15 hours of running.

This surely doesn't look good. This was 4 GB module and I tried it only 1 slot.
I also tried the other 2 GB module in both the slots but the result was pretty much similar.
Can you advice if the RAM modules are faulty or is there an issue with the motherboard?

Could the issue with my laptop not booting up be due to this?

My Laptop model is Dell Inspiron 14 N4050.
Processor : Intel Core i3 (First Gen).

    TIA..

MemTest86+ (with the plus) is not our software. I suggest you post in the MemTest86+ forums if you want support.
