    Wrong MT/s on Corsair 6000Mhz CL30 DDR5 with Expo on (3734MT/S)

    Hi There, Having a weird issue with A Gigabyte X670E Aorus Master, 7800X3D, Corsair CMH32GX5M2B6000Z30 RAM and Memtest Pro 10.5.

    Memtests all seem to pass (currently running 8 passes), but I'm seeing the wrong MT/s when EXPO is enabled. Without EXPO, it shows 4800MT/s, but with EXPO it drops to 3734MT/s. BIOS shows it correctly as 6000MT/s. Not sure if this is expected?

    Reason for the tests is that I'm getting hard resets during gameplay. When the system boots back, one of the sticks often shows at 2GB rather than 16GB. RAM seems to be the obvious suspect but a power cycle resolves the issue. Trying to figure out if it's the RAM, Motherboard or Memory controller fried on the 7800X3D. The motherboard has been swapped already (I had an ASUS x670e ROG board before that had a record of frying CPUs), so I think it's down to RAM/CPU. If anyone has any more suggestions...

          Hello. I'm having the exact same problem.
          My specs are: B650 Aorus elite Ax, 7700x, Corsair Ram CMH32GX5M2B6000Z30.
          Currently running memtest86 and it says RAM config: "DDR5 3734MT/s"
          I also get the exact same issue related to the detection of ram. Sometimes one stick only shows up with 2GB of available memory.

              Oh I forgot: Bios and windows task manager show 6000MT/s which is quite confusing.

                  What is the actual speed, as configured in BIOS?
                  Can you post a debug log, then we can have a look at the MT/sec issue.

                      Same issue. ASRock X670E Steel Legend + AMD 7950X3D. Corsair Vengeance 6000 EXPO shows as 3734MT/s and incorrect wattage (1.1v instead of 1.4) in main MemTest86 window. The timing appears to be correct though.

                          EDIT: Funny thing, i switch the memory speed from "EXPO" to "Auto" in BIOSvand when I boot back into BIOS the memory now shows at its default 4800. So I boot directly into MemTest86 and now it reads at 6400MT/s. The memory in the BIOS is clocked lower yet the MT/s are now higher! Why do i get the feeling the EXPO platform is not completely ironed out yet lol.

                                      I had the same issue previously with a ryzen 5 7600, MSI pro x670-p wifi. Was showing 3734 mt in memtest and 6000 in bios and windows.

                                      This build now has memory reporting 6000 mt/s in memtest with correct timings. I did notice that the voltage in memtest shows 1.1V while bios & windows shows 1.35V. Am running a suite of tests now.
