The USB I had plugged in was labelled 'F:' drive. I cleared it out, but did not format it as instructions did not indicate that was necessary. I ran the installation program and wrote the files onto 'F:'. It seemed to complete, but this prompted a 'G:' drive to suddenly appear. It said it could not be accessed without formatting it, but 'F:' was still accessible and seemed normal. When I hit the button to safely remove USB, both disappeared. No other drives on my PC seemed affected. Is this a concern, or should I not worry.
For further context, I am not very tech savvy, but someone suggested MemTest as I have been having odd issues with my PC, and they said MemTest could help eliminate RAM faults as a potential cause. I just want to know if the installation onto this USB went wrong, and if that could be a potential problem when trying to use MemTest.
