Issue with boot disk creation on Mac

I followed the instructions on installing a boot disk for Memtest86 exactly.

However, in terminal, after typing in my password to finally write to to USB, it's not showing up as completed.


It's just stuck on that.

Anyone know how long it usually takes to perform this function? It's been about an hour now and terminal still hasn't returned to its normal state.

It shouldn't take an hour, unless your USB drive was insanely slow or had errors.

At the end of the process it should show a report like this,



Can you try with another USB drive.
