  • Need help with 1 error in memtest86.

    Hello everyone,

I built a new pc, and it was very tough to get the Ram working with this motherboard and CPU, but I was able to after updating the bios and things, as I have having these problems, I thought of running a memtest once I installed the windows everything running fine,

so, the Memtest86 gave 1 error in test 8 of Pass3,

i have attached 3 snips of the whole test, need help on this.

Before the pc was not booting up with dual channel mode but single channel worked, after bios updated and using single channel sometime(2 hours) of 2 sticks in a1,a2, i tried to run in dual channel (a2,b2) it worked, and then working fine with E.X.P.O. to 6400mhz(just 1-2 min waiting on yellow Dram before it boot up), after that the test and got the 1 error in test 9,

Pc is still working fine and bootin gup just got worried about that 1 error i got in the test.

    PC specs.

    Motherboard: Asus TUF X670E-plus wifi
    Ram: Predator Hermes DDR5 6400mhz, 16x2, CL32-39-39-102, EXPO used to achieve 6400
    CPU: Ryzen 7 7700X
    Nvme M.2: CT1000T500SSD8(windows)
    SSD: CT1000MX500SSD1(SECONDARY)

    Thank You.
