Is there newer BIOS available for the Dell machine? A lot of the early UEFI machines had BIOS bugs. I am guessing the machine was released around 2012?

I am having issues with a Dell T5600 system.

My Configuration:
Dual Xeon E5 - 2620 processors
BIOS version A15
40 gbs of DDR3 ECC RDIMMS

Tests run fine if I boot up the Legacy Bios Memtest v4 cycling through the CPU's. However, I run into issues when I boot the UEFI v7.5. It loads just fine for me and I can get the menu. CPU multiprocessor selections are disabled entirely stating possible problems with an old UEFI system. When I try to run in single processor mode, it gets to 6% done on the first test no matter which test I start with and then crashes, restarting the computer.

Having issues running the test on a Dell Precision T5600 Dual Xeon system. The software takes a good amount of time to load, starts, and then displays about 1/2" of blue and green bands at the top of the screen before crashing out to a black screen.

Here are the specs:
BIOS: A14
Processors: Dual E5-2643 processors
Memory: Current config is 96GB of ECC DDR3 RDIMM (I dropped some memory hoping that taking a bit out would allow the test to run, it didn't though)
Boot Sequence is set to UEFI

I've also tried it with two video cards, same exact result. First setup was an Nvidia SLI Quadro 500 setup, second video setup was a single AMD HD4650.

I'm hoping that them memory test helps shed some light on some buggy issues. The Dell diagnostic says everything is fine, but the system acts weird under load.

Looks like the ASUS M5A99X EVO BIOS hasn't been updated for 5 years. Which is a while for a UEFI BIOS. Likely it is buggy.

It's the last BIOS update for this motherboard.

Hi, here's my info:

Motherboard model number: ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0
BIOS version: 2501 (Edit: this is the last BIOS update for this motherboard)
CPU: AMD FX-6100
Issue: PC shuts down and reboot after "Testing multiprocessor support"

The issue is in V7.5 Free Edition. The V4.3.7 in Free Edition works fine.

The original file is too big, so i deleted something from other PC's test .

Asrock P67 Extreme 6 is also affected.
UEFI L2.19 (latest available UEFI / beta)

- Parallel runs fine (4 passes without problems)
- robin ka
- sequential freez after test 1 (CPU core switch = freez)

Will you contact asrock for a fix?

This is an issue that ASUS has acknowledged and appears to be working on a fix. We have blacklisted this board in the meantime.
