I'm running memtest on a Threadripper 7970X. The auto-run (default config) tests on the free version shows passing (multiple passes). On the pro version, there are failures. One of the obvious differences between the free and pro is the number of active cores (16 vs 32). Aside from the number of cores, are there any other differences between the tests between free and core that I would need to consider?

There are a couple of additional tests in the Pro release. But Test #6, where you are seeing the errors, is the same test in both cases.
So there might also be some randomness, or some other external factor invovled.
