  • Which RAM stick is the faulty one?

    Hi all
I ran a memtest as i suspected one of my 8 sticks of RAM were faulty
Memtest came back with errors between 18GB - 30GB.
I have a rampage v extreme motherboard with 8x8gb Corsair Dominator Platinum.
My question is how can i work out which stick the 18-30gb range is referring to?
Does it work along them sequentially (i.e. A1, A2, B1, B2 etc) or does it go through a different pattern?
Ive attached a copy of the motherboard layout
    Thanks!!

Unless you know the address decoding scheme (more often than not, the details are not available publicly [eg. Intel]), it is difficult to determine which stick is causing the errors from the faulting memory address. You are better off removing sticks and using the process of elimination to determine the faulty stick.
