  • test results: 13 errors

    Hey,

I had some problems with my machine in the past. It randomly restarted without any information. Therefore I decided to run MemTest86 and I got 13 reported errors. I've problems to understand what the logfile means or how to interpret it. Can you help me with this issue?

    Logfile: https://www.sendspace.com/file/w4u0w7

Does it mean I should buy a new RAM to avoid unwanted restarts in the future?

Thanks for your efforts and for this great tool!

Most of your errors are from test 13, which means your RAM is susceptible to errors caused by charge leakage. See this page here: http://www.memtest86.com/troubleshooting.htm#hammer

However, there was an error detected in test 7 as well which may indicate faulty RAM. Replacing the RAM may or may fix the restarts you are seeing but it will certainly eliminate a possible culprit.
