  • Can boot from MS W10 USB but not Sandisk Cruzer

I can boot from the Windows 10 USB I originally installed with but can't boot from a 4 yr old SanDisk Cruzer I made bootable with the MEMTEST86 image tool.

Did you follow the process here for making the USB drive with MemTest86?

Can you post a screen shot showing the content of the USB drive.

Also how old is this computer, does it support UEFI BIOS?

The program and files are in a sub folder only to keep from cluttering up the previous folder which is where I download various other things.

Here's the screenshots of the EFI and EFI->BOOT folders.

The PC I built in 2021 or 4 yrs ago but I recently replaced the mb (dated 1/1/25) believing it was the cause of the random freezes but it wasn't.
It supports UEFI BIOS and legacy. CSM is enabled with the default UEFI only.

The MB is the Gigabyte x570S AORUS Master.

I figured it out. I had to disable CSM. Though MEMTEST86 ran without errors.
