I have been testing my system for 2 weeks now. I have Memtest configured to run 36 runs skipping test 10. I have found that the system runs just great when I use it in normal operations, but before bed I boot and run Memtest overnight. In the morning I find 5 or 6 errors, so I boot windows and the machine runs fine all day with no issues till I reboot and run Memtest over night get up and see that 24 runs netted 10 errors, reboot to windows and run all day and no crashes or anything.
Did this for like 10 days... Memtest has errors but the machine runs just great, soo...
Conclusion from my testing...
Memtest overstresses the system (a good thing) and reports errors (that's a good thing) but under normal operation and load those errors never manifest themselves and the system runs just fine.
Having said that, you milage may vary depending on your hardware...
