Memtest86 stuck on "Getting memory controller details..."

    Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with running Memtest86 on my system. The program freezes at the "Getting memory controller details..." stage, and it does not proceed further. I have already tested all possible configurations of flags in the blacklist.cfg file, including RESTRICT_MP, DISABLE_MP and RESTRICT_ADDR, but none of them have resolved the issue.

    Here are the system specifications:
    • Processor: AMD EPYC 9355
    • Motherboard: Supermicro H13SSL-NT
    • Memory: 12x 64GB DDR5 RDIMM 5600 MHz (Samsung)
    • GPU: 2x ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 5090 32G
    • PSU: Be Quiet STRAIGHT POWER 11 1000W + Fractal ion+ 2 Platinum 860W
I have also ensured that my BIOS is up to date (version 3.6), and the issue persists despite trying different memory configurations and flags.

Has anyone else encountered this issue with similar hardware? I would appreciate any suggestions on how to resolve this or if there are any known compatibility issues with Memtest86 on this setup.

    Logs:
    MemTest86-20250717-064137_401230_RESTRICT_MP.log
    MemTest86-20250717-073541_525302_DISABLE_MP.log
    MemTest86-20250717-074522_026210_RESTRICT_ADDR.log

Thanks in advance for any help or advice!

      Thanks for the logs.

There appears to be a bug in obtaining the memory controller ECC status. Can you give this build a try:
