Hi all,
I ran MemTest86 V6.3 twice and each time it froze on the hammer test.
The software was unresponsive and would not allow exit or access to the configuration screen.
There were no errors reported with the memory.
The computer that this was run on is an HP Z420 workstation with E5-2660 and 64GB of ECC ram. The UEFI firmware does not support multi-threading, so had to run a single core.
I have a limited amount of time to return the workstation if this is a memory issue, so I would appreciate if someone could help me confirm whether this is a software or hardware related issue.
P.s. for some reason, I am not able to post the log file as an attachment, but have sent the file via e-mail to support. The log file did not specify any errors.
Thanks
