    ECC Inject working but ECC Error Detected message not appearing on DDR5

    ECC Errors are not detected by MemTest86 v11.5 PRO on this PC config:

    Motherboard: ASUS ProArt B650-CREATOR
    CPU: AMD Risen 9 7900
    RAM: Kingston DDR5 ECC RAM

    I have disabled "Disable Memory Error Injection" in BIOS
    And I have also disabled PFEH

    Does MemTest86 v11.5 Pro support testing DDR5 ECC?
    If it does what can be going wrong? As far as I know my RAM, CPU, Motherboard all 3 supports ECC and BIOS is also setup correctly for this testing.

    ECC support in PC's is a bit of complex mess. Especially desktop PCs (servers are a bit better)

    So given the RAM and CPU can work with ECC, the most likely issue is with the motherboard. Either injection is disabled (despite the BIOS setting) or detection is disabled or MemTest86 is looking in the wrong spot.

    We do have evidence that this Ryzen 9 7900 CPU can work with ECC however. Screen shot attached from a different system.

    Note that there was a lot of issues getting ECC to work on desktop boards (it didn't work with early firmware). There is a video here.
