I'm running into some real issues, BSOD, memory errors. I've run the tool as well as some additional Microsoft dumps - any idea what's going on?

It looks like you may have faulty RAM. Try replacing your RAM with known good modules and see if you are still getting errors.

      See this page for details:

        Update - Surface Pro - Windows 10

Hi Keith, unfortunately, a surface pro is a closed system - no way to replace the RAM. Is there anything you can think of that points to faulty memory and not OS issues.

The MemTest86 log indicates memory errors in multiple tests, so there is a good chance that the memory is faulty. MemTest86 runs without an O/S installed so it is unlikely an O/S issue.

            Update

            Hi Keith,

Were you able to access the report and the errors you are seeing point to fault memory?

            thanks

The MemTest86.log file included log entries of detected memory errors such as this:

              [MEM ERROR - Data] Test: 8, CPU: 0, Address: C57D9840, Expected: 6133CA55, Actual: 6033CA55

Although it is more likely to be RAM issues, there is also the possibility it could be other components in the memory datapath (CPU, cache, etc).
