Core Ultra5 225h CPU machine test memtest86 randomly freeze

    I have tested a set(2PCS) of 6400 32GB CSODIMM on different 4 platform
    There are
    1.NUC(CPU: Ultra5 225H)
    2.MINI PC(CPU: Ultra5 225H)
    3.CSODIMM Platform (CPU: Ultra5 235)
    4.ECC CSODIMM Platform (CPU: Ultra5 235)

Using the Memtest pro version 11.5
When the set test on 1&2 machine , it freezes in randomly time (caused on 1 hour , 12 hour , 20 hour , not the same every time )
But the same set test on 3&4 machine, it can PASS 24 hour even more

Is it a known issue on arrow lake H cpu series? Or the set of CSODIMM are actually corrupted?

There are no known freezing issues on any current CPU (with the current software).

A freeze doesn't have to be bad RAM. Could be the CPU or motherboard. Could also be temperature related or BIOS settings.

      Hello David,

I found that while the sets freeze on Ultra 5 225H machines, it always freeze on test 9
Did you have any suggestion that I can adjust on BIOS or test configuration of memtest?

You could try running the RAM at a slower speed.

          Hello David,

I update all test to Memtest Pro version V11.6

          I have tested 2 set(4PCS) 32GB CSODIMM which hang on 6400MHz ,
when I down grade at 5600MHz on the NUC(Ultra 5 225H) , it can pass on more 24hours .(While 6400 MHz still freeze on Test 9)

So I borrow more machine to test
          All I tested machines :
          1.NUC(CPU: Ultra5 225H)
          2.MINI PC(CPU: Ultra5 225H)
          3.CSODIMM Platform (CPU: Ultra5 235)
          4.ECC CSODIMM Platform (CPU: Ultra5 235)
          5.MINI PC(CPU: Ultra7 255H , same series model with No.2 but different CPU)
          6.Laptop PC(CPU: Ultra9 275HX)

The 2 sets (4PCS) Modules only freeze on Test 9 while using No.1 and No.2 machine (Both CPU : Ultra5 225h)
The other machines (No3.~No.6) all can test PASS over 24hours

Did you have any suggestion that I can adjust on BIOS or test configuration of memtest on Ultra5 225h machines?

You could check for new BIOS on the bad machines.

Or just accept that those first two machines aren't capable of running the RAM at 6400MT/s fast in a stable fashion.
(or you could start playing around with all the RAM timings, but we never bother with that. It is a lot of work for a minor gain and really the RAM should just work with the profiles it advertises)

              Hi C.C.
We have similiar experience. (same CPU ultra 225h )
              frequently freeze at test9
If we disable all e cores (just use p cores), we can pass all the test.
