The result show "PASS", but ECC ERROR in progressing

Hi Sir,

I'm currently testing a system with two ECC DIMMs installed, but I have some difficulty understanding the test report. Could you please help clarify the following questions?

1. During the test, ECC errors were detected, but the final result still shows "yellow PASS". My understanding is that the memory successfully corrected the errors. However, if I run the test again, it still ends with the same "yellow PASS." Does this mean the memory is actually correcting new errors each time, or is MemTest86+ simply reporting previously logged ECC correction events?
2. If the final result is a "yellow PASS" (ECC Error), is there a simple way to restore it to "green PASS"? For example, would cleaning the DIMM gold fingers help, or do you have any other recommended troubleshooting steps?
3. As shown in the attached report, the system is configured with two DIMMs. However, the yellow PASS result doesn't indicate which DIMM experienced the ECC errors (It only shows "ECC Correctable/Uncorrectable: XXXX"). Is there any information in the report, or any recommended method, to identify the specific DIMM without testing them one by one?
4. If I want to verify whether the yellow PASS (ECC Error) has truly been resolved, is it necessary to reboot the system before running the test again, instead of simply restarting the test at the moment within MemTest86+?

4. Don't think there is anything you could do to fix the errors while Memtest86 is running/machine is on
