In case someone else comes across the same problem.

We had one report of a boot problem with OSFClone v1.1.1001 not booting on a Fujitsu M470 machine.

The solution was to turn off the Intel VT-d feature in BIOS before booting.

VT-d is "Intel Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O". It is useful when running virtual machines as provides better sharing of the hardware resources to the various VMs running on a machine. It isn't clear why this feature stops OSFClone (which is based on Tiny Linux) booting & if it effect more than just the Fujitsu hardware.
